As always, another GREAT move from Seniors Moving Smarter! Efficient, on-time, very quick--made moving a couple from 3500 sq feet into 1300 sq feet as stress free for them as the move possibly could be. By the end of the move day, our new residents moved into a perfectly set-up home with beds made so they could fall in to them and enjoy a good night’s rest. I highly recommend Seniors Moving Smarter to anyone considering a move. You won’t be disappointed.

As one of 6 adult children moving my Dad to assisted living, using your services was a God-send to us! Your guys were friendly and efficient. When we arrived to put things in Dad's room, the guys set up the furniture just as we wanted it, made sure the TV/cable was hooked up and working, and then they emptied all the boxes we had in three cars and brought them in. Our overwhelming move from one end of town to another was accomplished easily in 3 hours! The price was less than quoted, and well worth every cent!

I downsized from 1400 sq feet to 800 sq feet in another town. Then moved again in 3 months. Seniors Moving Smarter was wonderfully helpful with both moves, helping me to determine which furniture would fit in the new places, packing , moving and resettling everything. At the end of moving day, boxes were empty, beds made and dishes in the cupboard. I think the most touching incident was when I opened my kitchen cupboard and found the dog liver treats recipe taped to the inside, just like it was in my original home! I hope to never move again, but surely won't do it without Liz and company! Thanks, Liz.

Living out of state, selling a three bedroom home, downsizing to a one bedroom with den brought many challenging problems. What to take, what to leave behind, and will what I want to take “fit” in my smaller living space. It was at this point that I was introduced to “Seniors Moving Smarter.” I had no idea that such a service existed. Liz was able to coordinate with such a service as hers in Indianapolis.
Laura, in Indianapolis, came to my house. Liz had supplied Laura with the dimensions and floor plan of my new apartment home. Together Laura and I made decisions and made furniture placements based on the space available. Laura also had suggestions on packing and organizations where things I was not going to take could be donated. Laura told me she was impressed with Liz’s quick responses to questions that she had as together they coordinated the move.
Packing day came and went and I was off to my new place. Imagine my surprise, after completing paper work, etc, when I walked to my new home furniture was placed as per my layout; bed was up and made; clothes were in the closet; dishes and linens in the cabinets/closets and empty boxes and packing paper gone.

Moving my sister-in-law to a new space from her home where she had lived for the past 50 years was a daunting task. Seniors moving smarter took all of the anxiety and worry out of the move. We were able to get out of the house and enjoy our day while the move happened, and then come home to a new place that was clean and organized in a very special and perfect way. When my sister-in-law and I arrived at her new home she was so elated that she began to cry tears of thankfulness and joy. We appreciated all of the effort that was put into the move and the caring people that were involved. We would like to especially recognize Liz and thank her for all of her hard work. Having Liz and Seniors Moving Smarter has been such a blessing to our community. We recently utilized their floor planning, packing and unpacking/setup services and WOW, we were impressed! From the moment the team walked in at 9am, the home began to take shape. I had time to meet with the resident, get her final paperwork signed, provide an orientation, have lunch and when we went back into the home around 2:30p.m., the entire home was nearly setup, including the entertainment center! When they were completed for the evening, all the trash was removed and the home was left sparkling clean!

I was working with a family who had a relative out of state. There was a need to furnish a room to (Mary's) liking and to meet her needs...but everything was in Florida. There wasn't time for shipping of furniture and choosing all those unique things from home. The family called Liz late on a Friday afternoon and that's all it took. Liz came in and made it happen. She met with our resident and her family, she got to know her tastes and she went shopping. Liz scurried around town over the weekend and by Monday, all the furniture was in place, all the unique little touches were there and the most important test -- (Mary) loved it and now calls it "home".

Many thanks to Liz and her staff for helping us through the difficult and emotional transition of moving our 94 year old mother from her home to assisted living. Her caring and expertise was a comfort to our mother and us as well. On moving day Liz and her staff took care of mom's furniture and personal items while we were able to tend to our mom. Mom's new living space looked beautiful when we arrived -- everything arranged, clothes in the drawers, television was hooked up, and even the bed was made - no hassles or confusion for mom and much less stress for us all.
